You're Invited: Ben Calf Robe Traditional Pow Wow
The Ben Calf Robe Traditional Pow Wow is one of Edmonton’s most cherished Indigenous cultural gatherings. This annual celebration brings together families, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, dancers, drummers, and community members from across Treaty 6 and beyond.
Open to all Edmontonians, the pow wow offers an opportunity to experience Indigenous culture and take part in a meaningful expression of community and reconciliation. This free, family-friendly event has been held for more than 40 years and features hundreds of dancers in full regalia, along with powerful performances by drum groups and singers.
What began in the gym of St. Pius X Catholic Elementary School with fewer than 100 participants has grown into a major gathering, now welcoming between 8,000 and 10,000 attendees each year.

The Ben Calf Robe Traditional Pow Wow Committee is seeking volunteers to help make this year's event a success! This special event is a vibrant celebration of Indigenous culture, traditions, and community.
Roles Available: Various positions including setup, registration, crowd management, hospitality, cleanup, and more.
